DJ Observer, having made a name in Austria’s trance and house-scene since 1998, is known for his great variety. His style is a mixture of progressive house, electro and trance and can therefore not be compared to any other DJ. You will find numerous successful events in his biography – Biosphere, Donauinselfest, Love-Parade in Berlin, Sziget-Festival in Budapest as well as the Amsterdam Dance Event.

His label Navida Records which he has founded together with Daniel Heatcliff, releases “Sunrise Reloaded” – a track also being successful abroad (rated with 5 of 5 stars in DJ Magazine UK). However, there are also connections to other labels, for example Juicy, where the debut single “Boomerang” is released in 2008 (under the pseudonym “Steelfish”)
Navida also stands for a substantial series of events offering fans of electronic music everything they might wish for. There are regular events, quite often taking place in Moulin Rouge in the heart of Vienna – a location combining time-honored surroundings with modern music.

The start of 2009 also sees the birth of Viva Navida – a webradio-show, where DJ Observer, Daniel Heatcliff and David Barnes not only present trance but all kind of electronic music and broadcast via webradios all over the world.

DJ Observer, seit 1998 ein Begriff der österreichischen Musikszene, überrascht vor allem durch seine Vielfältigkeit. Sein Stil „Advanced Electronic Dance Music“ eine Mischung aus pumping House, Progressive, Electro und Trance, unverkennbar und so wie er es seinem Publikum präsentiert einzigartig. Ob im Club oder auf den größten Festivals im In- und Ausland, DJ Observer ist ein Garant für einen vollen Dancefloor und beste Stimmung.

2010 holte sich DJ Observer seinen wichtigsten Preis ab, den Austrian Dance Award in der Kategorie „People Award“. Ein Jahr später der nächste Paukenschlag, sein Elián Dust Remix für Laidback Lukes Single „Timebomb“ gewann unter 300 eingereichten Werken den ersten Platz. Neben dem Djing gründete er mit Barnes & Heatcliff 2008 Navida Music und das Label Navida Records. Anfang 2009 startet schließlich Viva Navida – österreichs erfolgreichste Webradioshow welche Sender von Rußland bis in die Schweiz jeden Monat übertragen.

Im Studio ergänzen sich DJ Observer und Daniel Heatcliff nahezug perfekt. Ihre Tracks und Remixes finden sich bei DJ Tiestos Label Black Hole Records oder etwa bei Robbie Riveras Juicy Music Label. 2010 schafften sie es sogar mit ihrem Track „With Me“ auf die wohl bekannteste DJ Compilation „In Search Of Sunrise“. Mit ihrem neuen Projekt „Steelfish“ erobern die beiden aktuell die Houseszene und supporten 2011 unter anderem David Guetta in der Olympiaworld in Innsbruck.
